Identity and civil documents
- Passport biographic page and any U.S. visas.
- Birth certificate (and translation if not in English).
- Marriage or divorce records if relevant.
- Passport-style photos that meet USCIS specs.
Financial and household
- Federal tax returns or transcripts for required years.
- W-2s, pay stubs, or employment verification letters.
- Affidavit of support materials if a sponsor files I-864.
Relationship evidence (marriage and family cases)
